The International Bulk Wine and Spirits Fair (IBWSS) is an annual fair and conference open only to professionals in the sector. IBWSS visitors are buyers looking to fulfill their demand for bulk wines, bulk spirits, private label programs, grape purchasing or contract manufacturing.

In the first half of this year, Argentine exports to the British market totaled 20 million liters, and more than 22 million dollars, in a particularly strange year for the South American country, since its exchange rate with the pound is subject to the government, which has made it less competitive. This situation promises to change in the short term, since a devaluation is imminent, and that will put Malbec back on the crest of the wave.
The timing is almost perfect. With a harvest just a few months away and a more competitive price in short, November sounds like an ideal month to start talking about projects for 2024, with the clear objective of recovering the ground that uncompetitive 2022 and 2023 set back.
Malbec is present in the minds of British consumers. Recognized brands such as Trivento and Catena have paved the way, their consistent quality and rich fruit is already a must-have at barbecues and “asados” throughout the Kingdom.
